GrapesLes Valozières is one of the most esteemed premier crus in Aloxe-Corton, as its optimal position at the base of the Corton hill provides the backbone for creating concentrated, structured wines with immense ageworthy potential. As with all of Lachaux’s wines, fruit for this wine comes from organically-farmed vineyards and is vinified with whole clusters. The area’s limestone-heavy and iron-rich soils are also credited with giving the wine its distinct minerality, rendering it a regular favorite amongst collectors and Burgundy aficionados alike.
