Fruit for this wine comes from practicing organically-farmed vines located on the Aloxe side of Corton-Charlemagne (which many professionals agree is the best part of the site), located directly next to the famous Corton-Charlemagne cross. Vines boast an impressive 70 years in age, and the wine ferments with native yeasts prior to fermenting and aging in large barrels for 14 months (40% new) followed by seven months in steel prior to release.
