Fruit for Cathiard’s NSG 1er Cru Aux Murgers comes from a 0.13-hectare vineyard planted in 1935, that today, is farmed organically. Prior to vinification, fruit is 100% destemmed and fermented with native yeasts for 20-30 days in tank, followed by aging for 15-18 months in barrel (⅔ of which is new). This elegantly layered, dark-fruited wine will offer a sublime mid-term drinking experience, though we recommend waiting longer to truly let the wine show its best side.
